As other reviewers have mentioned this fountain is most impressive in full sunlight. Even partial shade will cut back the fountain significantly. It's definitely not one to consider for shady places. However, the big surprise was that the battery inside does store up enough energy for a good display at dark. The fountain will stop working as it is covered with shade or the sunsets. Then as the ambient light level drops down to about where solar lights turn on the pump starts up again with a nice light and water display.

I just take it out of the box, put this fountain for bird bath in my yard, I add about a gallon of water and as long as the sun is shining on it, it works wonderfully. Within an hour, a hummingbird came for a bath,
(look at my photo). It is so enjoyable! My daughter and I are very happy with this little fountain

It is a nice small fountain as my bird bath isn’t that deep.. it has great suction power and can easily adjust to different sprays.. took about 2 minutes to set up.. I love it and all my neighbors do too! ❤️ Also has multiple colors in the evening to enjoy..

I bought this for my son's faery garden and I wasn't really sure what to expect. It has little support rods that keep
the fountain spout up and out of the water. It works best in direct sunlight, but the solar panels store energy as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there are several different options for the water spout. They are all very nice, but these were my favorites. It was super easy to set up as well.

Works great, holds a strong charge and was very easy to assemble and set up.. Took less than 2 minutes.
It all snaps together. It is very easy to clean simply wipe off the solar cells every time you wipe the gunk off the filter. This is perfect for a small pond.
The color changing lighting looks absolutely gorgeous at night. Subtle and pretty

It's quite a nice addition to any backyard garden. I love how it is solar-powered and I don't have to worry about any battery changes or cable plug-ins, it's very simple to start up and use. Very satisfied!

It's a very cool option to bring to your garden. I like the fact that the calming water spout shots water at a calm rate not to overpowering. It is very inviting for birds to come and relax in our backyard. I definitely enjoyed this!
