The stake housing comes in White, Yellow, Charcoal, Brown, and Black. All five finishes use the same solar panel, battery, and warm white LED — the difference is purely the color of the plastic stake casing. Choose based on what blends with your garden path material, mulch color, or home exterior.
Each light uses a single AAA 1.2V 300mAh nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable battery. This is a standard AAA form factor, so replacements are widely available if a battery degrades after extended seasons of use. Ni-MH chemistry handles more charge cycles than standard alkaline batteries and is better suited to repeated solar charge-discharge cycles.
Each unit is 16.3 inches tall and 4 inches wide. When the ground stake is fully inserted into firm soil, approximately 12-14 inches of the housing sits above the surface, depending on soil depth. That height keeps the fixture visible above low ground cover like mulch or short grass without being obscured.
Each unit's solar panel is rated at 3W and 5.5V. A 3W panel is meaningfully larger than the 0.5-1W panels on many basic entry-level path lights and captures more energy during partial cloud cover or shorter winter daylight hours. Full charge time is approximately 6 hours of direct sunlight.
