The three modes are: (1) strong light with motion sensor — full brightness activates on movement, dims when no motion is detected; (2) dim light with motion sensor — the light stays at low brightness continuously and surges to full on motion; (3) continuous strong light — stays at full brightness regardless of motion. You switch modes using the included wireless remote control, so no ladder climb is needed after installation.
All three heads adjust independently.
